Method for determining the total impact energy of a bus rollover to the conditions of the Rules of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe Ne 66 (UNECE) intended for the certification of passenger motor vehicles of category M3 is presented. The manufactoring quality and the design safety of passenger motor vehicles in Russia is assessed corresponding to the technical regulation "About the safety of automobiles". The design engineering of the mobile machines has to satisfy 16 safety standards. They consist of a lot of demands: strength of the design engineering upper part of the automobiles; strength of the seats and their fastening elements; location of the safety belts; safe glasses.
