This paper introduces the basic features and the performance of reflectorless total station. The ranging performance of Sanding KTS750R reflectorless total station is tested through lots of experiments in many ways under the condition of reflectorless, including the reflecting targets with different material property and different color, ranging in different angle of incidence different distance but also on detail point acquisition precision was analyzed., the performance index and application of reflectorless total station was evaluated in different conditions, some useful conclusions were drawn.
