Based on the control theory of electric air-conditioning compressor, sensorless control methods of the drive motor used for compressor have been studied,and the detection method of back electromotive force (BEMF) based on the ST singlechip have been analyzed in detail. A drive controller based on ST7FMC2S6T6 of electric compressor of air-conditioning used for the electric vehicle has been developed.With the chip-rich internal resources, the control system make a reduction of hardware overhead, improved system reliability and control performance. The requirements on CAN bus of the automotive have been meet. Experimental results show the effectiveness of the control method and good performance.
