Because there are until now no commercial mobile control valves with individual notch control a self-designed and -manufactured valve was used The test valve characters shown above are based to the used manufacturing technology and methods, in any case the achieved results have shown that the chosen concept is workable and that a real working valve can be developed on its base. This was the first trial to test the function and controllability of the proposed Negative Load Sensing system. In this study made short test cannot give any general statement of the usability of negative control system in mobile hydraulics, anyhow it has given positive signs to carry on with the development work. The power consumption was lowest with negative load sensing even that the input and output notches of the valve were electrically rigged controlled. The main advantages of the negative load sensing system can be reached by using individual notch control. Controllability could be achieved with all: constant pressure, Load Sensing and Negative Load sensing systems.
