The analytic transformation of geometry of a machine with cyclic symmetry by the Schwarz-Christoffel method usually relies on strong assumptions, e.g., on an infinite deep slot. Formulas for calculating the permeance coefficients of the slot leakage for magnetos with two gaps and used for direct drive devices are obtained using the finite superelement method coupled with the method of designing experiments. It is shown that the use of the finite superelement method allows one to produce a corrected calculation model. The equivalent circuit used is given. A formula for the permeance of the leakage of the stator slot per unit of the active length is derived. Results are discussed. In many cases, the formulas obtained for calculating the permeance coefficients of the slot leakage of magnetos with two gaps correct the traditional ones by 15 %.
