The technology verification satellite TET (Technologie ErprobungsTräger) is the core element of the German On-Orbit-Verification (OOV) program of new technologies and techniques. The goal of this program is the support of the German space industry and research facilities for on-orbit verification of satellite technologies. The TET satellite is a small satellite developed and built in Germany under leadership of Kayser-Threde. The satellite bus is based on the successfully operated satellite BIRD and the newly developed payload platform with the new payload handling system called NVS (Nutzlastversorgungssystem). The NVS can be detailed in three major parts: the power supply, the processor boards, and the I/O-interfaces. The NVS is realized via several PCBs in Europe format which are connected to each other via an integrated backplane. The payloads are connected by front connectors to the NVS. This paper describes the concept, architecture, and the hard-/software of the NVS. Phase B of this project was successfully finished last year.
