A new multi-channel optical detector, the so-called spectrometric sensor, is a mixture of a spectral apparatus and a reference solar cell. The most interesting feature for ground based testing is the freestyled spectral response of the devise. Almost each conceivable spectral response can be simulated with the spectrometric sensor. Therefore it can be used like component cells for setting the solar simulator.
