This paper demonstrates the application of a motion planning algorithm called elastic bands on Khepera robots. This method stems from robotics and was adapted for the structured environments and specific needs of automobiles. It shows how Kheperas can be used as demonstrators arid test environment for new technology in the automotive industry arid how these motion planning algorithms can be used for non-holoriomic mobile mini robots as well.
