The Russian LiA-3-5256 busses are equipped with rear axle reductors consisting of 2 parts joined together by welding after they were assembled. A special stand for assembling the reductors was designed and constructed. Mounting of bearings (negative allowance, moment of friction 1 N.m to 4.5 N.m) and driving gear (value of back-flash compensation) as well as tightening the screws and assambling the conic differential was carried out at the stand. The stand was successfully used for major repairs of the reductors.
