This paper describes the main features and performances of the Power Control Unit (PCU) developed for RADARSAT-2 spacecraft. This equipment is a part of the Electrical Power Subsystem (EPSS) and it includes all the electronics for power conditioning and distribution, battery management, platform heaters supply and pyro control. The main PCU design characteristics are bus voltage in the range from 21 V to 35 V, 3 KW maximum power supplied to the loads and Maximum Power Point Tracker (MPPT) control.
