The structural reliability of the hull girder of the frigate NB Leander is analysed. Its ultimate strength is calculated bei investigating various collapse conditions of its structural components. Only still-water and wave induced vertical bending moments are considered in deep load condition, assuming they are independent. The load combination factor was determined by Ferry Borges-Castenheta method. Distributions of the long-term extreme values of the vertical bending moments were calculated using linear strip theory.
