A low cost expendable turbojet engine in the 200 pound thrust class was fabricated and tested. The design, manufacturing, and inspection concepts of the program resulted in the achievement of a projected engine cost of 2883 Dollars each in lots of 1000 engines in terms of 1975 economics. Problems solved during the compressor rig testing and engine tune-up testing are discussed. The results of the engine demonstration testing both at sea level static conditions and under a simulated MA 0.7 condition are presented. (Buehn)
