For a closer esimate of reliability and its prognosis with a view to design recommendations, the proposed computer model for traction motors relates to quarry electromobile systems using data gained in mining operations. The vehicles have a diesel-generator power plant and DC traction motors. The criterion of reliability is the probability density function in regression analysis applied mainly to the brush-commutator assembly and armature winding.
