Ten highly qualified and experienced instructor pilots were tested with respect to bombing performance in the General Electric 2B35 full colour wide screen flight simulator. Half the pilots flew with colour first and then black-and-white and the other half with the reverse order. Repeated bombing runs were made and circular bombing errors obtained. Under the conditions of the study, no statistically significant differences were shown between performances in colour and those in black-and-white.
