In satellite communications, service availability is essential as satellites cannot be repaired. Autocorrection type of equipment is first described generally, often being triplicated and with a logic system for amplification. Such systems are described with simple block schematics, including redundant-code autocorrective structures. Other autocorrective structures are similarly described and their reliability performances are compared. All these systems have definite attractions for satellite systems due to their high reliability.
