A complete analytical synthesis of a control maximizing response speed is given for a one-dimensional problem of the meeting of two spacecraft at the approach stage with allowance for varying mass. The optimal synthesizing functions are found in the form of analytical expressions for the dependence on the coordinates of the three-dimensional phase vector.
