I was asked to say a few words about RAM in the Army today. We in the Army have been getting tough about RAM. Army weapon systems exemplify the type of success that we have had with RAM. For example, our Bradley is achieving a reliability of over two and one-half times what we had originally required. These systems show that dedication to RAM yields high payoffs. The problems when there is no adequate RAM are considered.
