We present in this paper the digital filtering methods of sea-level data, and the results acquired thereupon. By using monthly mean data to be filtered and to be eliminated the regular annual variation, the influence of the periodic factors on sea-level data has been apparently eliminated. This method, which has been repeatedly proved to be successful by the results shown, could eventually enable us to obtain the information of premonitary symptoms of macroseism.
