The BRDF values of a special, striated gold sample at 10.6 and 118 micrometer were measured. For 118-micrometer radiation the values decrease from beta-beta0=0.1 to 1 for both orientations, but the vertical orientation of stria always produces a higher value. At 10.6 micrometer the horizontal orientation produces BRDF values that start at about 10-2 at 0.1 and decrease to about 5x10-4 at 1. The vertical orientation generates curves that are considerably higher.
