Abstract The first question to A. Aldrin, regarding the International Space University (ISU) Summer Session in Bremen, Germany 2001, asked whether China would be a major player in the future of human spaceflight, and whether it would be isolated or cooperate with other nations. The Chinese students felt cooperation should not be a problem; they could foresee that all spacefaring countries should establish international cooperation with China.
