Smart Parking Ticket Generation System (SPTGS) is an artificial intelligence technology which uses number (license) plate of the vehicles to register parking area for any vehicle along with driver face recognition. The goal is to use audio instructions to create an effective automated PTGS. In order to control parking lot security, a system has been installed at the entryway. The created system initially identifies the car before taking a picture of it. Deep learning is used to retrieve the characters from the vehicle number plate zone. The extracted characters from vehicle plate are saved in database with entry time of vehicle and image of driver. Whereas on exit from parking lot, again verification module is activated which verifies the license plate number from database along with face verification of the driver. After successful verification of vehicle, exit time and total charge according to hours are applied to the customer. The system is implemented and simulated in MATLAB, and its performance was tested on real images of the vehicles.
