After the separation from rocket, geostationary satellite needs to go through multiple apogee orbit changes and perigee altitude needs to be raised to synchronous orbit altitude. However, if the rocket fails, the apogee altitude of the satellite will be much lower than the synchronous orbit altitude. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a method of geostationary satellite perigee orbit change, gives the corresponding operation process, and solves the problem of geostationary satellite perigee orbit change. This method has been successfully applied to a geostationary satellite.
