Maintainability technology can improve the service life of spacecraft and reduce the manufacturing cost. With the participation of astronauts, the maintenance and replacement of the equipment inside and outside the manned spacecraft provides a way for the long life of the spacecraft. Taking the extravehicular camera of manned spacecraft as an example, a maintainability design method suitable for on-orbit maintenance electronic equipment is presented. The maintenance process of the extravehicular camera is simulated and analyzed. Finally, the method and technology have successfully verified on Chinese manned spacecraft, which verifies the correctness and rationality of the maintenance design of extravehicular camera. The design can provide technical support for maintainability design of China manned spaceflight electronic equipment.
