This paper presents a comprehensive summary of the various devices used to control industrial robots. Nowadays, industrial robots are a pivotal component in modern manufacturing, making effective and user-friendly means of interaction vital. Our study undertakes an extensive review of research papers, academic publications and specialized academic literature in order to create one of the most complete inventory of devices used to control industrial robots. Based on the method of control, we have classified the devices into two categories: manual control and sensory input control, which include a variety of devices in each group. Our research paper also offers valuable insight regarding the state of the art and stands as base for future research and development of more intuitive devices to control industrial robots.
