Abstract In this paper, description of the technique and calculation data on the precision of vacuum ion-plasma spraying of GTE parts coatings are presented. We developed an algorithm and a program that make it possible to calculate the out-of-roundness of parts at different positions of a plasma source with due regard for parts rotation. Also presented are the results of experimental verification of the calculation data for a helicopter part of the “glass” type.
