Robotics is a growing area in the daily life of users and especially in industry. In recent years, many developments have been made to create and improve new techniques for handling objects with articulated robotic arms. The industrial sector is currently the most interested in including more automated processes. Thanks to the great evolution of artificial intelligence, image processing and the development of new algorithms, the detection of objects and collisions is much easier than it was a few years ago. Therefore, this article will present the development of an articulated robot, built completely from scratch and in which collision detection techniques and object detection techniques have been applied in a controlled environment.
