Latterly, flexible marine riser has become a topical issue for oceanographers and academics. However, the majority of most studies have only focused on its vibration issue caused by disturbances. In the actual oil and gas transmission process, various practical constraints must be considered. This paper mainly considers the riser system with input backlash and output constraint and researches on how to design control scheme to handle oscillation control and constraints. By combining barrier Lyapunov function, adaptive technique and boundary control method, a barrier Lyapunov function (BLF)-based adaptive boundary control scheme is provided. Finally, simulations are given to validate its effect.
