A preliminary design for a 20 kg Martian tilt-rotor surveillance aircraft is presented. Two propellers that include 6 blades each have been chosen. The aircraft is driven by two Scorpion HK-4015-1070K motors with LiPo batteries augmented by solar panels, has a predicted cruise speed of 40 m.s−1and a range of 137.7 km.
