A distributed AIS information acquisition system with a microcontroller as the main control, decoding algorithm and MQTT communication is constructed and developed. The objective is to solve the lagging problem of AIS data acquisition by the current digital waterway system on the main Yangtze River, to deploy future equipment through the area, and to achieve autonomous acquisition, comprehensive reception, coverage and application of AIS data in the Chongqing section. The real-time acquisition of AIS data from the digital waterway system is optimized by the system. The system is low cost, low power consumption, stable and easy to use and install in the field. The AIS distributed real-time acquisition system can be integrated with the information of the basic elements of the waterway, and the effectiveness of the digital waterway system can be brought into play to provide powerful data support for the operation and maintenance of the waterway and the ship service to the society, which has good application prospects.
