The dynamic load of the truck affects the vibration, the safety of movement and the durability of the truck. The paper presents the research results on the effects of suspension stiffness on dynamic load acting on Dongfeng DVM 2.5 truck. When increasing the suspension stiffness, it will increase the maximum dynamic load value acting on the tires, chassis and road, and at the same time it also reduces the power transmission of the tires; In order to ensure power transmission and dynamics safety, a fully loaded Dongfeng DVM 2.5 truck runs on an E-class road according to ISO 8608:2016, the speed does not exceed 50 km/h and the suspension stiffness must be smaller than 456.4 kN/m.
