In order to explore the key factors affecting the injury of riders in electric two wheeled vehicle accidents and reduce the degree of injury to electric two wheeled vehicle riders in accidents, this study deeply explores the characteristics of electric two wheeled vehicle accidents in car collisions based on China In-depth Accident study data. A model considering heterogeneity and nonlinear characteristics is used to identify important parameters that affect the severity of injury to electric two wheeled vehicle riders, and obtain the interaction between significant variables, Research has found that the wheelbase, seat height, distance from the center of the saddle seat to the handlebar, and vehicle speed of electric two wheeled vehicles have nonlinear effects on rider injury, and there is an interaction between wheelbase vehicle speed, seat height vehicle speed.
