This SAE Aerospace Recommended Practice (ARP) provides design and performance recommendations for emergency exits in the passenger cabin. This standard has been revised to update Sections 2 (References), 3.1.8 to require the exit should be openable due to the loss of the assist system power and not the airplane power, 3.1.9.5 related to visibility of outside conditions, is applicable only for non over wing exits and 3.2.1.4 related to word should replacing the word shall.
