This recommended best practice outlines a method for estimating CO2-equivalent emissions using life cycle analysis. This standard is being updated to reflect new data on the climate. It also addresses changes made to SAE J2765 to add requirements for testing of dual evaporator systems and systems with chillers. Finally, new life cycle models have been developed, so the standard is being changed to be more general.
