The revision updates the Title to match the Scope, adds recommended practices (1.2), updates composition reporting (3.1.1), aligns bar and wire condition (3.2.1, 3.2.2), prohibits cutting bar from plate (3.2.1.3, 4.4.3), removes macroetch requirements (3.3.1, 4.2.1), revises decarburization evaluation methods (3.3.1.4), adds pyrometry control, updates temperature tolerances (3.3.2), adds condition and tolerance as acceptance tests (4.2.1), adds options for purchasing forging stock (4.4.4), adds finish guidance (3.4.1, 8.5), prohibits unauthorized exceptions (3.6, 8.6), and updates packaging (5.3).
