Song interviews Jaiwon Shin, the longest-serving associate administrator for NASA's Aeronautics Research Mission Directorate, about what he thinks air travel is going to be like when his grandchildren are his age. Shin tackles the flying wing design that he has talked about and some vision of what kind of airplane that's going to lead to. He also discusses the restructuring he has initiated the last couple of years and where he thinks the line should be between public and private investment in pursuing some of these revolutionary technologies. Lastly, he mentions the supersonic technology and how it helps the Asia Pacific traffic.
