Evaluate the long-term performance of composite materials in space by exposing them to the actual space environment and analyzing changes in their interfacial properties, using the International Space Station (ISS) and the MISSE for experimentation. This research could assist in the design of future spacecraft, assessing risk and enhancing safety and reliability of spacecraft structural materials for space exploration.
