The Galileo Orbiter spacecraft has been in Jupiter orbit since 7 December 1995. During its continuing orbital tour, Galileo is sending back a continuous stream of data about Jupiter, its magnetosphere and the Galilean satellites. Results to date include several major discoveries. The current status of the mission and plans for the final portion of the nominal mission and possible extended operations will be discussed.
