Process forms high-temperature superconductors into electrical components as connectors, coils, and conductors. Brittleness no obstacle because material preformed before heated to turn it into ceramic. Substrates made of glass-fiber-reinforced circuit-board material, reduce leakage of heat into ceramic, unlike silver or copper substrates used in making sintered-in-place superconducting ceramics.
