A description is given of steps involved in flight planning and control of flight plan completion required for a complete air traffic control system at airports. The proposed concept of flight control automation is characterized by the use of a closed Air Traffic ATC System, where ATC has feedback on control quality which allows the introduction of changes required with time. The study features mathematical descriptions which can serve as a basis for detailed theoretical and practical investigations. (Author)
