The 12 scientific satellites which were launched, and results obtained from analyses of data returned from them are reviewed. Findings are presented from satellites still active, Cos-B, GEOS-1, ISEE, IUE, and GEOS-2. Programs under development are reviewed, including Spacelab, Exosat, International Solar Polar Mission, Space Telescope, Firewheel, Hipparcos, and the Liquid Helium Cryostat.
