A 32.20 km/h (20 mph), 75° oblique impact Side NCAP Test was conducted on the subject 2018 Ford Mustang two door coupe in accordance with the specifications of the Office of Crashworthiness Standards Side NCAP Pole Laboratory Test Procedure for the generation of consumer information on vehicle side pole crash protection. This test was conducted at Calspan Corporation’s Transportation Test Operations facility in Buffalo, New York on December 11, 2017. The impact velocity of the vehicle was 32.41 km/h, and the ambient temperature at the struck (driver’s) side of the target vehicle was 21°C. The target vehicle’s maximum post-test static crush was 341 mm located at level 3. The test vehicle’s occupant performance data is as follow
