A system using optical waveguide as transmission medium between missile and control position was designed. The advantages of such a system with respect to wire-controlled missiles are given. The structure of the transmission system is outlined. The technology used for signal registration, transmission, and processing is presented. The operational use and the realization of the system are explained.
