The fatique certification program for the T-38 airplane is a comprehensive program aimed at evaluating the service life of the airplane. The program consists of four principle phases. Formal program reports that are associated with each of the four phases are also included. The reports contain a detail description of the test program, test results and comparisons between test and analytical results. The four phases are: analytical determination of spectrum data and fatique life, small specimen and full scale fatique test program, dynamic response and sonic environment flight test program, small specimen and full scale sonic fatique test program.
