A fin-stabilized missile is disclosed in which the guidance and control system comprises a velocitymeasuring, integrating accelerometer which provides a signal for cutoff of the booster motor and for ignition of the sustainer motor, and which further supplies signals indicating the force and direction of drag, and in which the control system utilizes the last-named signals for control of the missile to compensate for its accuracy-disturbing drag.
