This plan is based on using a large proportion of existing equipment for both the satellite and Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) systems. Full use will be made, however, of available information on EMI characteristics of these pieces of equipment. Compliance testing will be used only for otherwise unavailable analysis or essential data. System Tests will be conducted to demonstrate compliance with EMI requirements. The primary objective of the EMI Control Plan is to provide an EMI-free system that includes the satellite, AGE equipment, and the Data Processing Laboratory (DPL). For purposes of this plan AGE equipment means that as defined in Section 5.
