The objective of the work described in this report was to develop a better understanding of the aerodynamic roll characteristics of canard controlled missiles. Studies were performed to develop a method of predicting induced roll moments, a method for simplified representation of aerodynamic coefficients in simulations, and to evaluate the use of canard and tail slots.
