An adequacy study of the Kent road system was made to identify and examine critical road deficiencies. Five major transportation and circulation categories were selected for study. (1) Identify traffic generators and circulation patterns; (2) make general field survey of all town roads and rate roadway adequacy; (3) identify major town roads system; (4) make an in-depth investigation of the major town road system and make recommendations for improvement of critical deficiencies with estimated cost of construction; and (5) list general local road deficiencies and make recommendations for improvements. The study showed that the local road system is mostly substandard when compared with modern design standards. Six road locations were selected for improvements and are listed in the report.
