The effects of magnetic, aerodynamic, solar pressure, and gravity gradient torque on satellite control are discussed. A preliminary feasibility evaluation of an electromagnetic attitude control for the EXUV satellite shows that such a control could cover about 70% of the primary mission but is not adequately efficient for the secondary mission because of maneuver duration and the large angular momentum exchanges required.
