The objective of the study undertaken by HumRRO was to analyze Coast Guard aviator training requirments in order to determine functional requirements for flight training devices or simulators necessary to support the Coast Guard flight training program. The study involved four steps: (1) analysis of operational missions and derivation of training requirements; (2) analysis of trainee input factors; (3) definition of the characteristics of required synthetic training equipment; and (4) development of plans for the funding and procurement of the required synthetic training equipment. Steps 1 and 2 have been reported, while Steps 3 and 4 are covered in this report. (Author)
