A new concept of an advanced VTOL transport aircraft is studied and presented. The 100-passenger all composite aircraft, with separated core type lift fan engines and cruise fan engines, has highly optimized configuration for high subsonic flight. It is estimated that the aircraft is much quieter than conventional transports or small helicopters, and that the VTOL transport aircraft does not seem to present technical problems that could not otherwise be solved.
